When Bach met Lavignac and Smetana (2021) was commissioned for the Groninger Piano Festival. The question was whether I could combine the theme of the Toccata & Fugue of Bach with the themes of Smetana's Rondo and Lavignac's Galop-Marche into one piece for 15 pianists (you can also play it with three pianists). In this crazy work I have brought all three composers together.
